Why does the Heritage Foundation need donations?

The Heritage Foundation is a non-profit company and relies on donations to launch conservation actions. Every donation, however small or large, makes an ultimate difference in being able to do the necessary outreach and preservation to achieve the following:

  • To visit and possibly save heritage sites and monuments in danger.
  • To apply for permits to legally move or restore heritage resources that would otherwise be destroyed.
  • To preserve, maintain and restore Afrikaner heritage sites in the Heritage Foundation’s possession, where necessary.
  • To save museum objects that can no longer be looked after by the owners and according to minimum museum standards.
  • To manage conservation spaces to extend the life of Afrikaner heritage resources so that visitors can view and learn about them.
